Our programs build lasting relationships.

The youth who benefit from Waymark express their immediate interest in participating in future events, and volunteers notice a difference in their behavior and mannerisms in just a few days.

Our Youth Programs

Waymark supports youth in foster care with skill building and connections with others in similar situations and highly-vetted adult volunteers who help fill the void of a traditional family unit while providing much-needed support for foster parents and affiliate organizations.

Youth, ages 6 to 12, are invited to Royal Family KIDS Camp for a one week overnight camp each summer. Each child is taught about God’s love and his purpose for their lives. They leave camp with valuable relationships, fun memories, and the skills to succeed within the foster care system.

Teens in foster care (ages 12 to 17) are invited to a girls’ or boys’ camp one weekend in the fall. They learn social and emotional skills, character-building, conflict resolution, and team-building. Many teens who participate are graduates from our Royal Family KIDS Camp or local group/foster homes.

Teens and young adults (ages 14 to 21+) in foster, adoptive, or relative placements are invited to Saturday events where they learn valuable training to assist as they prepare to emancipate from the foster care system. Foster parents and guardians are also invited to join them for training to better assist their teens with the transition.
