Journey Weekend

Teens in foster, adoptive and group homes (ages 12-17) are invited to a weekend camp where they learn social and emotional skills, character-building, conflict resolution, and team-building. Many teens who participate are graduates from our Royal Family KIDS Camp. The weekend takes place in the North Georgia Mountains with high/low ropes & challenge courses and other team activities that help teens gain the foundational skills needed to transition into adulthood. Other activities include art, a surprise birthday party, Chapel, roundtable talks, football/basketball, delicious food, and much more! The most important thing we do during these weekends is show these precious teens the love of Christ and communicate their value, worth and the message that their future is full of hope and purpose! It is truly life-changing! We also offer an offsite camping trip for our 16-17 year old boys and a Spa time for our older girls.

Campers receive mail throughout the weekend, a photo album with pictures of themselves and their friends, and a bag full of goodies when they arrive!

Camp is provided free for our families. The cost to us for this life-changing experience is $300 per camper. That’s where you come in. Even if you cannot cover the entire cost for one teen, any size gift will make an impact.
