Inspiring hope and successful transitions
to adulthood
Waymark helps youth in Georgia's foster care system successfully transition to adulthood by creating the structure and space for caring volunteers to provide skills, support, and critical relationships. Our quality programming provides youth with a sense of community and support — guiding them to succeed when they make the transition to adulthood.
Get Involved & Give Back
Georgia has seen the most dramatic increase in the number of kids in foster care in the past few years … from 7,600 in September 2013 to 14,400 in June 2018. Waymark provides support and skills that help to keep them safe and nurtured, offering a foundation for a successful transition into adulthood. Life-changing impact is possible and starts with just one child.
Donors who provide financial or in-kind support make it possible for Waymark to offer life-changing skills and support for youth free of charge to the foster family.
Volunteers who participate in a camp, skills training, or mentorship program can make a positive difference in the life of a youth after just a couple of interactions.
We believe every youth has a purpose and that our community has a duty to listen and value them throughout their development and into adulthood.
